These photos show the style and design of our signature 'Kingwood' bodhrán which measures approximately 16"(400mm) in diameter and is 6"(150mm) deep). Goatskin is selected for all our drums and each skin is cured naturally. The tone adjustment system uses six alluminium replaceable blocks and Phillips-head bolts to quickly tune the bodhrán. Our signature Kingwood drum is ideal for 'top end' style playing whilst still maintaining a superb bass sound. The slightly smaller diameter frame, combined with the extra depth body, is perfect for players of all standards to explore modern and new techniques. All-Ireland bodhrán player Adam Brown has designed and styled the Kingwood drum as his own signature instrument.
